Lethal Threat Decals
X76CUSTOMS.CO.UK stock a variety of quality vinyl graphics, decals and stickers designed by a range of talented artists. Amongst these you will find products by Lethal Threat, a popular brand of decals for customising motorbikes, and other suitable surfaces. Lethal Threat decals are designed to last 3-5 years of extreme outdoor conditions. They are screen-printed with UV resistant inks on clear 4 mil vinyl. They can be clearcloated over, however neither Lethal Threat nor X76 Customs make any guarantees about this due to types of clearcoat behaving differently. Lethal Threat and X76 Customs are NOT responsible for any mistakes or damage caused by applying clearcoat over the decals. Due to the high-tack adhesive, the decals will not peel off during vehicle/item washing or everyday weather conditions. Lethal Threat decals can be removed from the surface if need be, and will not remove any auto-paint, however they may leave behind a residue. This can be removed with a special cleaner. The decals can be used once only. For more information on Lethal Threat decals, visit their website - www.lethalthreat.com
Vinyl Stickers
The stickers sold on this website are in the form of top quality 'peel & stick' vinyl stickers, printed with long-lasting non-fade UV resistant inks. All graphics/designs featured on this website are fully licenced, artwork by cool pop and pin-up artists. While not specifically designed for vehicles, these are weatherproof hard wearing stickers, which many customers have purchased for their ralley cars, trailers, toolboxes, etc. Most stickers are die-cut.
All decals and stickers sold here are self-adhesive 'peel & stick' type products, and are extremely simple to apply. Here are some guidelines that may assist you in the application of your graphics;
1 - Ensure that your chosen surface is a suitable one. Please practise common sense and DO NOT decide to stick the decal or sticker anywhere dangerous or anywhere that might cause harm to yourself or the item you are customising. Apply to helmets at your own risk - health and safety DO NOT reccommend putting decals and stickers on helmets as tampering with a helmet can render it unsafe. The stickers and decals can be applied to most clean and smooth surfaces such as glass, metal, plastic and fibreglass - but DO NOT apply the decal to engine parts or any other place that becomes hot.
2 - Use an appropriate household cleaner to make sure that you are working on a grease/dust free surface. The surface should be dry, and out of direct sunlight.
3 - Your hands should be clean and grease free. When you peel the backing off the decal or sticker, handle it as little as possible, before lining it up to the desired position. Stick it from one point first, and rub it on as you stick it down bit by bit, taking special care to rub out any air bubbles. If you find that you have some air bubbles that cannot be smoothed out, often they can be popped with a pin, and the edges rubbed down. A squeegee or plastic card (credit card style) is also useful for applying decals.
WET APPLICATION - LETHAL THREAT DECALS ONLY - "Clean the surface where you will apply the decal. Use window cleaner, soapy water or rubbing alcohol to prep the surface, and dry with a lint free cloth. Surface temperature should be 55F to 70F, and not in direct sunlight. Get a spray bottle, fill with water and add two to three drops of dish washing detergent, shake bottle to mix solution. Spray a light mist of the fluid on the desired location where you will apply the decal. With clean hands, peel the sticker from the backing paper, do not let the decal stick to itself. Position the decal in the misted desired location, using a squeegee or straight edge, rub the decal from the center out pushing out any trapped fluid and air bubbles."
Please take neccessary care when applying vinyl graphics, decals and stickers to surfaces. X76 Customs will accept NO responsiblity for these being used incorrectly or inappropriatley. All graphics and designs featured on this website are fully licenced. All images are copyright to their respective owners and therefore must NOT be reproduced in any way without their permission.
